I wrote this song after my daughter kept asking me if Santa Claus was real.

My little girl came home today and the question that she asked
Is Santa Clause a real man or someone in a mask?
Does he slide down our chimney? Do the reindeer really fly?
Does he bring us gifts at Christmas and she wanted to know why?
I told her Santa Clause was real and there was something she should know

Before she asked for makeup or another baby doll
I felt he wanted me to say believe in Santa's Cause

She was leaving milk and cookies and hoped he understood
