Lyrics
Splashpoint
(c) 2000, words and music, Colleen Coadic
I burned all the wreckage of memories
just a little heart soil on my self serving sleeves
returned from the dead
reclaimed my wings
crashed into sunset
I drove into traffic and in a jam
to get a little perspective on wasted land
released from the promise of tyranny
raised eyebrows weaken me
from my honesty with myself S
and I learned to see to believe S
and I smile to feel the laughter the love - all I am
I sank to the streets of Atlantis
with a little relief to offer them
repeated the efforts of early man
my splashpoint into sunset
of my honesty with myself S
and I learned to see to believe S
and I smile to feel the laughter the love - all I am S
all I am is a mistaken tourist
mistaking reasons for us
every nations? sorrows replaced by a new shore
I soared to the sun wax on my wings
to embrace my earliest tragedy
refused to land when the light hit me
my crashpoint into sunset
I spoke to all of the sleep of dreams
recanted the fear that had once lead me
my splashpoint into reset
of my honesty with myself
and I learned to see to believe
and I smile to feel the laughter the love - all I am
all I am
all I am
