Story Behind The Song
I met several people who were limiting their enjoyment of life because of fears of breaking their moral commitments to themselves. Mostly, their fears were of what might happen. I wrote this song to say set you boundaries, and enjoy what you can on that side of your line. Don't be afraid of what might happen.

Lyrics
Is this your way of killing time?
Have you found God, or just lost your mind?
Do you prefer the straighter path
so much so that you?ve lost your laugh?
I?m not saying that I think you?ve lost your way.
But sometimes praying means you think that there?s no other way.
That?s the last thing I would say.
You listen to your conscious? fears
that tell you you?ve lived sinful years.
But you need to feel you?ve done your part,
and lift guilt from your heavy heart.
I?m not dwelling on my wrongs when I?ve done right.
There?s just no telling; I may find I?m shining in the night.
Good times always shine so bright.
Don?t be sad cause your days might seem too cloudy.
Sunday morning holds you safe and sound.
Saturdays don?t have to be the days you lose your boundaries.
You can still be standing tall when you lay down.
So let it go; you?ve made your stand.
You?ve saved your place in the promised land.
No reason to live solemn now.
Just dance and let your heart?s hair down.
Let life go; it doesn?t mean that you don?t care.
Let laughter be your hymn and smiles can be your prayer.
I know you?ll find me standing there.
