Story Behind The Song
This song was born from the first line. I was sitting on an exercise bike in the gym and saw a guy on the other side of the room looking at me in the mirror. I thought the line "looking at him looking at me in the mirror" was kind of cool so I just rolled on it. At the time I was really digging Sugarland's song "Already Gone" and I kind of fashioned this song after that one, but with my own twist.

Lyrics
I'm looking at him looking at me in the mirror
Those 3 little words couldn't be any clearer
But I tell him "Say it again"
He laughs & pulls me in
We kiss in the bathroom at 6 in the morning
The shower is running & water keeps pouring
Straight down the drain
But I can't pull away
He's so remarkable
Ain't love wonderful
I'm looking at him looking at me from the front row
He smiles every time our eyes meet & we both know
It's a big night
And it's all going so right
We stand in the green room after the encore
With his hands in his pockets, he leans on stage door
And says "You're such a star
You could go so far"
He's so remarkable
Ain't love wonderful
I'm looking at him looking at me in the greyhound
Her engine is humming and she's pointed southbound
She's leaving today
To take me away
We reach for each other as the bus leaves the station
He gave his me blessing without reservation
And let go of me
So I could chase a dream
He's so remarkable
Ain't love wonderful
