Story Behind The Song
The lyrics were written about friends who were involved in gambling and how they rejected their closest friends and even family for their lust for money.
The music was put together with a drum sample, droning bass loop and synths done by G. Lanteri overwhich C.J.Coffey constructed the melody and lyrics, guitars and the production of the rest of the song.
Song Description
The song is basically about how some people choose money over family and friends... how their love for money can destroy their soul (and those around them). The song has a dark edge to it with whispering / beckoning vocals in the verse and jsu the opposite in the choruses.

Money - Lyrics by Craig James Coffey
(Ad lib intro: "Money, Money")
Verse1
Your friends have gone it was the price you paid
Now you wonder was it all worthwhile
Your rainless nights of thunder don't hide in your smile
Chorus
Money can buy some people
Money can turn some people
Money can make some people
But Money can't buy back your soul!
Verse2
Lost in the crowd I-ve seen what greed can do
Their promise so proud how could they lose
Don't you believe you-ve commited no crime
Your soul will drown in the tears you-ve left behind (Ad Lib: "Money or your soul")
Chorus (as above)
Break
(Ad Lib: "Money, give me more Money")
Verse3
Don't misunderstand me we all need our slice
But your lust for money won't pay life's price (Ad Lib: "Money or your soul")
Chorus (as above)
(Ad lib outro: "Money, Money")
