I was just imagining a young woman, born into a family of abuse and violence, who determines to keep her head down and plow through. Over time, she sees other's lives full of hope and possibility and is able to build a life of happiness and fulfillment.

Song Description

A young girl lives in fear of the people closest to her, who seem to have no self-control or much respect for others. She resolves early on to find a way through, though she knows she will need to do it on her own. As she grows up, she sees life outside of her home and sees there may be ways she can escape the fear and anxiety she has surrounded herself with.
