Story Behind The Song
Wrote this song after seeing the positive changes in the life of my son and daughter who were adopted from foster care, knowing the desperate situation they were in, and witnessing the HOPE we saw after they'd been in a loving and safe FAMILY for 2 years.
Song Description
An upbeat, fun song of HOPE, of helping others, of giving back, of overcoming obstacles, working together to achieve what seems impossible. Wynonna Judd-styled, engaging and inspiring crowd-pleaser.

Lyrics
Vs. 1:
Molly bears the pain and scars of the girl she used to be
Bounced around through foster homes, to living on the street.
But Molly found a hope at the mission on seventeenth
Friends who cheered her on to a job and a G. E. D.
A future once so out of reach has become reality.
Chorus:
That's what love will do
That's when hope and faith see you through.
When you're climbing up a mountain,
You need someone who'll be there for you
To help you make it through
That's what love will do.
Vs. 2:
Molly thinks about her mission friends as she goes to work each day
Just like everyone she cried when Ms. Perkins passed away Now on these nights when some lost soul__ comes wand'ring off the street
Molly welcomes them in ______ with a smile and a bite to eat
Standing in for her heroes who believed what she could be.
[CHORUS]
When you give it away, it comes back to you!
[CHORUS]
