Story Behind The Song
A friend of mine convinced me to just start composing from scratch because I'd been complaining that I hadn't written a song in awhile. So, I did, and within 10 minutes, I had the verses and choruses finished. And, 15 later, I had the entire song done! It's funny how that works. When they come from out of nowhere, they usually end up being the best ones.
Song Description
A Taylor Swift-sounding/inspired track that leaves each listener floating in thick, lush clouds. "Make 'Em Like They Used To", after completion, was destined for television and/or movies whether it be on the soundtrack or in the background or as the "theme". All in all, this ambient, romantic beauty of a composition is destined to be a Synth Pop classic once it's put in the spotlight.
