S.C.B. Biography
"S.C.B." (Sacrifice, Commitment, Belief)
M.A.C. (Anthony McKie-pronounced ‘mackee’) and Jerzy-Zoo (Leonard Stamps) together known as S.C.B, defy the norm by taking on the hip-hop industry with radio friendly lyrics (no explicit material) and head nodding beats. The two linked up at Ft. Bragg (Fayetteville) NC and in just 8 short months, began to reek havoc on the local scene. These gentlemen are so dynamic that they find the time to write, produce and record 2-3 tracks per week; some written and recorded during their lunch hour! To date, all tracks by S.C.B were produced and recorded in M.A.C.’s Army barracks room. S.C.B can already be considered prolific songwriters with over 40 tracks stored in their personal music library. Professionally, these two artists are not afraid of creativity and show that by being versatile in their music. Their recent twelve-track CD titled "The Difference" is just that. "The Difference" has something for every listener giving a new school twist to old school beats (Cut a Rug), catering to the ladies (Throw It Back/Girls Gone Wild) then bringing it right back to the club (Buck). Anyone with an industry trained “ear” for music will pick up on the sounds of violins, funky guitars and horns embedded in beats that satisfy the cravings of hip-hop’s target market. So, don’t gamble precious dollars on one-hit wonders, S.C.B is a cash cow in the making!
