SAND was established in 2003 by guitarist and front man, Michael Alexander along with drummer, Paul Zander. After numerous attempts and failures with other band members, they decided to take a break. The two friends made a joint decision and SAND was reborn in 2006 with the addition of Michael Brooks on guitar, and bassist, Wade Radtke.

SAND brings influences from all walks of music, to include modern and classic rock, country, as well as hip hop and blues. SAND has recently released the first single off of their upcoming album, "American Lies", which has been featured on 94.1FM/WJJO and continues to receive a strong response.
