I began playing guitar in high school. Borrowed a six string acoustic from a friend and took over a year to give it back. I was hooked. As high schoolers this friend and I began recording and writing songs together. Throughout college we continued writing, started a band and began playing around Austin, Texas. Though I've gone on to work in the business world -- I have continued to write songs for the past 19 years -- honing my skills -- improving my singing and learning all I could about songwiriting and recording. Though I know what I'm doing is not perfect hopefully you can hear the emotion, and consider the lyrics insightful, at times fun, and at times hopeful. Recently I have felt a higher calling -- that maybe that talent I do have should be put to a higher cause. Thanks for listening.
