Phrase was born Jeremy Brownlee 26 years ago in Kansas City, Mo. Inspired in the late 90's by rap greats such as 2pac, Bone, Biggie, Twista and Outkast, along with local artists such as Tech N9ne and Rich the Factor, Phrase found his fascination for the music industry. Throughout the next several years battling frequent arrests, drug abuse and family issues, music was the one place he could find solace. Now Phrase finds himself emerging as a Kansas City favorite in the rap scene.
