"The Beatles are my greatest musical influence. However, I am also inspired by James Taylor, Jim Croce and Harry Chapin. I love a song that tells a story and I attmept to do that in many of my songs."
Peter MacIntyre
Residing in Phoenix, Arizona, solo artist Peter MacIntyre blends his Classic Rock influences from such acts as The Beatles, James Taylor and others into a unique sound that is all his own. His warm, full and inviting vocals are perfect on such covers as You've Got A Friend by James Taylor. His original compositions are very well crafted and reflective.
"Peter's songwriting ability captures heart-felt emotion and translates it into music that reaches the hearts of those who hear it. This is especially evident in the beautiful song he has written entitled "Child's Play"

I am releasing my third C.D. titled "These Times". This album has a sound reminiscent of my favorite John Lennon album, Plastic Ono Band released in 1970.
I blame it all on The Beatles
It was February of 1974 and I was eight years old. The T.V. show 60 minutes was airing a segment commemorating the 10 anniversary of The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. I watch in amazement and as soon as the segment ended I ran into my brothers bedroom and ransacked his record collection. I absconded with Meet The Beatles, Beatles 65, The Beatles Second Album, Abbey Road and Ram. The rest is history.
I never really dreamed of being a rock star I dreamed of one day being a songwriter. I got my first guitar when I was 14 and the first song I learned to play was Yesterday.
Since then I have written over 100 songs, released two C.D.s and have performed in a variety of venues in Ohio and in Arizona. My influences have grown to include James Taylor, Harry Chapin, Jim Croce and a whole variety of performers and singer songwriters.
Have a listen to my songs. I hope you like them. If not I am comforted by the fact that not everyone likes The Beatles, James Taylor or even Sinatra.
Thanks,
Pete
