Bio
The words "Super Group" are very rarely used when describing independent music but after listening to some of O.v.e.r.K.i.l.l.'s rhythmic offerings I'm sure you'll see why they so deservingly carry that description. Formed in late April of 2009, this conglomerate is made up of three solo artists who each in there own way have accomplished a great deal of musical success, A.M.N.E.Z.I.A., Broadway Joe & Bucc$ come together to form one of the most diverse and entertaining hip-hop trios to date. A.M.N.E.Z.I.A. who's name is an acronym meaning "Accurate Measures Narrating Emancipation Zero Impression Allowed", is a Kansas City, Mo. native who cleverly twists a rope of intelligence and wit as he delivers his doses of urban vernacular throughout each selection. Broadway Joe or Joe Black as he is most often referred to as, was born & raised in Queens, New York & brought with him to Kansas City that cocky, big city state of mind, of which he more than eagerly shares with the listener. Lastly, Bucc$ who like A.M.N.E.Z.I.A. is a lifetime resident of Kansas City, impressively mixes a braggadocios sense of humor with unique similes to make his mark on each track. As they make the jump from underground to mainstream with such singles like "City On My Fitted", an ode of appreciation to the place they call home and "How It Goes", a raucous up-tempo number on which each artist explains why they feel they deserve what they're striving for, each of which is featured on their debut studio album entitled "Divide & Conquer" slated for an early September release, it becomes abundantly clear that they totally & musically embody the true definition of the word O.v.e.r.K.i.l.l..
