20 Years ago, at the age of 10, the piano seduced me. I immediately started playing songs I new from the radio, Tv and film and my parent's eclectic record collection. At the same time I instinctively began to improvise and soon after, write my own songs. Early exposure to ALL styles of music, led me to innocently try my hand at writing with no stylistic boundaries.
Guitar also had a major impact on the evolution of my writing and also my exploration of brass and woodwind instruments and any percussion I could get my hands on. BIgband Jazz the music of Miles Davis et al made my life somehow make sense. Jazz consolidated my love of improvisation and spontaneous composition. I studied Jazz piano graduating 1997. Since then, I have been playing gigs, teaching and composing/producing. I have a passion for working with FILM and have started writing for advertising and short films.
