Bright White Teeth has been praised by JJJ for its "classic indie rock sound and structure that echoes early REM".
In 2012 Triple J's 'The Good Doctor' described All Good as a "bloody lovely song".
Mog has also been a featured artist on JJJ's Unearthed podcast during which they commented: "this fella knows how to put a song together; the structure is very defined and the singing is purposeful - Mog is a guy who's got stuff to say".
In 2011 RiotACT said they "can't get enough of this old school indie rock - five stars".
Mog's first album "Nine" was released in 2009 to widespread critical acclaim.
Their second album "Seldom Seen" was released in 2010 and attracted plenty of attention with two of its songs winning songwriting competitions.
Mog then released an EP, "Faux", in 2012, which included a song that won the Great American Song Contest.
This was followed up by an album, "Travel Light", in 2014 and and an EP, "Like Honey", in 2016, which were both critically acclaimed.
Their EP, "The Night Outside", was released in 2018, and their latest album, "Maybe It's Nothing", which was released in 2021, contains a few surprises.
The future? Mog will keep writing and playing good songs - watch this space...
