Melissa Rose is a hot young singer songwriter with a sultry voice that touches the soul. At 23, her career has already spanned a decade. Recognized early as a featured vocal soloist at the University Center for the Performing Arts in Davie, Florida, Mellisa was also the recipient of a competitive scholarship to the Hollywood Florida Performing Arts Playwrights Theatre.
As a songwriter, her bluesy rock style highlights her depth of talents and is a natural for collaboration.
Her good looks and stage presence have led to finalist finishes in beauty pageants in both South Florida and the Baltimore/Washington area. She has been featured soloist with several championship Jazz bands and reached professional level with the 70’s funk and disco band “Final Mix” in Ocean City, Md.
At the same time she participated in and won the area’s American Idol contest. As a result, she is now recording her first CD at Ken-Del Studios in Wilmington DE.
