"A rare jem of an amazing singer/songwriter" - Adrina Thorpe
Award-winning Melinda Miller brings a jazzy soulful voice back into the pop/rock world with sound-a-likes such as Fiona Apple or Alicia Keys. Growing up in the bay area, her songwriting skills meet her sultry voice competetively with catchy melodies and thumping piano inspired by The Beatles, Jason Mraz, and Lily Allen.
She recently won Best Song, two times for the West Coast Songwriters Showcase, and has been featured on MTV's True Life's Apollo's debut album. Won best of 2006 for KLAS Radio in Los Angeles, where she is growing her fanbase.
