Maria Weir has been writing songs since she was 14 and has been making music since her birth. Growing up in a large musical family, music was a way of life. Maria began on keyboards but moved on to playing plays bass, guitar and ukulele. She is also known for her soulful bluesy singing style and solid, powerful bass chops.
Tracy Barns Band
Tracy Barns and Maria Werth have been making music together since growing up in a large musical family. They began their singing careers performing with their brothers and sisters in a 9-piece family band called "The Weirz". The band toured throughout the United States and Canada, and also backed up younger brother, Michael Damian's, "Rock On Tour". In the 90's, Maria teamed up with Tracy (a Nashville award winning performer), to play the Palomino, Buck Owens Crystal Palace and other venues to showcase their music.
Tracy is well known throughout the Central California area for her powerful country and soulful bluesy performances. She plays with her sister, Maria Werth, and together their blended harmonies and style of music have resulted in many requests for performances. They also work regularly with The Jimmy Phillips Band, Tommy Hays and the Western Swingsters and their gospel group, Grace Angel Band.
