I've been in the entertainment business since I was 7. My first job was singing for a Nick Jr. Commercial.I did some acting but always came back to the music. I was signed to a pop group when I was 12 doing alot of the writing. Then I went solo and started writing my own stuff. Putting it on youtube, I was scouted again, signed to a production company in LA (Steretypes Music) and then with Jive Records. I only released one song "Starbucks Smile" that made it on NOW39. Unfortunately, There was a reorganization at Jive and my album never was released. So I'm back at writing again for my independent album "My Eighteenth Year". Its a mix of electro pop, acoustic pop, and soft rap. My 18th year was full of emotions of being on top and than having disappointments in life realizing things won't always go my way. And yes, it covers guy troubles, too! The song I am most proud of is "My Eighteenth Year" So I hope you enjoy my music and can relate. Thanks for listening:) xo Maria K
