Originally South African, recently moved to Toronto. Studied classical piano as a child. Later learnt to play guitar during my teen years and was involved in a number of small garage bands. As we gained a little success I began to write material for the band. After becoming tired of the petty politics in bands became involved with the electronic music scene and began dj'ing. The structure of electronic music and the hands-on involvement with the material/vinyl and the immediacy of audience response intriuged me. Subsequently became interested in writing my own material as the computer software made home production viable. Currently trying to break into the market by writing hip-hop, drum and bass and breakbeat for media placements and possibly even a single!
