"Everyday, my life as a producer, arranger, composer, songwriter, pianist and all else in this industry-is like a seed. Everyday, "something new" springs forth in this magnificent world of Music Production." This is where we create, produce, bring into being, design, develop, shape, arise, generate, tailor, add color, contribute, construct, program, foster, promote, and launch the Music within us.
Music is not just an outward expression of what is in the heart... music is a way of life for the ones with this calling and for those that are yet to discover its potential and beauty!
Thank You for joining me!

Lannie Battistini
Lannie Battistini was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. His Father is a 3rd generation Spanish/Italian and his mother is an American Italian from New Jersey. Lannie's grandmother bought him a small piano and he immediately began playing the melody of the tunes he heard. By the age of 15, never having taken one music lesson, his mother was booking him to entertain guests at hotels, civic centers, and government events.
By the time he was 19 yrs of age, he was accepted at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and by 23 yrs of age, he had majored in arranging and composition and minored in film scoring, with the piano as his main instrument.
For many years, he has performed as a guest artist and with his own Hands In Motion Band at venues such as, La Ventana al Jazz In San Juan, Puerto Rico, The Borinquen Jazz Fest, Heineken Jazz Fest Series, Rumbeando Jazz Concert Series, Picante Jazz Concert Series & Jazz del Patio Concerts in Puerto Rico, St. Pete Fridays Jazz Concert Series, (WSJT 91.4), Miami at WDNA's Fine Arts Concert Series, Clearwater Jazz Holiday Fest, St. Armand Jazz Fest of Sarasota, Florida Summer Fest 2008, the Florida State Fair 2008 and 2009 and "Viva la Musica" at Seaworld in Orlando and in Busch Gardens, The Dali Museum and The Mchaffey Theater, just to mention a few.
He has won numerous recognitions, certificates and awards for his song-writing abilities as well as his performances. He has also had the honor of sharing live stages with legendary artists such as: Batacumbele, Giovanni Hidalgo, Dave Valentin, Papo Vazquez, Rie Akagi (The magic Flute from Japan), Humberto Ramirez, Luis "Perico" Ortiz, Pedro Guzman, Charlie Sepulveda, Anthony Carrillo, Paoli Mejias, and Jose Feliciano, to name a few. Lannie also toured throughout the US and Latin America for internationally known Latin Pop artists such as Ednita Nazario, and Victor Manuel.
For a while, he lived in Los Angeles, where he was involved in productions with Kenny Passarelli, the bassist for Elton John. He also directed the band and was part of the production team for the record label, Acid Jazz Records.
From 1998-2001 Lannie toured worldwide as Keyboardist with Iconic Latin Pop Artist, 2X Grammy and 2X Latin Grammy winner and 3X Platinum Record, OLGA TAÑON. In 2000, Lannie finally won a Grammy with OLGA for "Best Merengue Tropical Album' - "Olga Viva...Viva Olga", Recorded Live at the "House of Blues, in Orlando, FL" This totally changed his life and opened many doors.
Lannie has headquartered his business in Florida since 2005. In addition to his busy production schedule, he accepts certain live engagements during the year. He continues to produce between 4-6 albums and EP's a year for Independent recording artists. He also engages in songwriting, arrangements and teaches both piano and vocals for those advancing in a music career.
Finally, after many years of not making "the time", Lannie produced his very first album as a performer. The album entitled "Hands In Motion- Latin Jazz," was released in the spring of 2009. His second CD, "En la Cima" (At the Top) was released internationally through his own label, Hands in Motion Music, in April of 2011. His 3rd release was in 2014. This album, "Nomenclatura" demonstrates his passion for Jazz music. His very first contemporary instrumental album featuring Flutist Elaine Emminger has been released in 2015. This album has 6 of Lannie's original compositions written for a 64 piece orchestra which demonstrates another facet yet to be discovered by his loyal fans. Lannie is currently producing an album soon to be released in 2017, in which he is collaborating with flamingo guitarist, Greg Raiter.
Lannie is a piano virtuoso, multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger, composer and songwriter. He never takes his gifts or life for granted, knowing they come from his Creator, flowing through his fingertips, also making him one of the happiest guys you will ever meet.
