Kim is a singer/songwriter who began playing the guitar when she was 10 years old and wrote her first song at age 16. She has had two songs published and recorded by Merlin Productions out of Fort Worth, Texas, titled “Country Kinda Morning” and “Carter County”. “Carter County” was given generous air play time locally, also in the surrounding area, and used commercially for promoting the Covered Bridge Days festival in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Kim has been writing music and lyrics most of her life and for the last couple of years has been co-writing with her husband, Rick. She draws on her various life experiences to aid in her creating and writes to appeal to the “every-day” person in each of us.

Kim is currently a member of NSAI, Johnson City, Tennessee workshop where she continues to learn more about the art of songwriting.

She has played at numerous venues, including the Virginia Highlands Festival, and The Down Home in Johnson City, Tennessee. Kim intends to continue to grow as a writer and look for opportunities to cement her career in the music business.
