Khadafy Khan's Bio
Khadafy Khan has been a professional musician for more than 20 years. As a performer, composer, arranger, music copiest and educator, Khadafy has become well known on the Tri State area music scene. As a graduate of Laguardia High School of Music and Art and the Performing Arts and of Manhattan School of Music, he has had the opportunity to work with some of the industry's top clientele. The range of artists include Wynton Marsalis and Jazz at Lincoln Center Jazz, The Charles Mingus Big Band, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Eddie Santiago, David Cedeno, Frankie Negron, DLG, Whitney Houston, and The Stylistics. In addition to individual artists, Khadafy has been a regular trombonist on Broadway including such shows as Miss Saigon and Phantom Of The Opera. He has also written music for numerous commercials, movies and television, including the ABC soap opera All My Children. Khadafy performs regularly with Ray Rodriguez y su Swing Sabroso.
