One of six brothers ,raised out in the sticks of rural Georgia ,afforded me a chance to develop values that are reflected within the heart and soul of my songs. In what I call "giving my difference", I offer the listener a chance to see the world through my eyes ,heart and soul. Amazingly young people get my music more than most other ages. Could it be that they are the ones who listen. Critics often refer to my style ,cadence and sound as being unique whether they themselves appreciate it or not. Speaking to my 12 yr old niece recently ,I was stunned that she knew all the words. "Your songs are deep", she replied when I asked her why she liked them so. Now that's a great compliment.
