His mind, his voice, his hopes, his dreams, in one word, was his music - His downs were few, when in its harmony, he wrapped his thoughts in melody - The comfort he showed was part of his own lyrics, constructed to ease himself and others to rest - To some, his seclusion meant exile - But with seclusion and his music, he came to know the truth about himself - The panic of others was left unnoticed, along with fears of what can't be - And he saw what he knew to be, within his verse - John Hansen

John Hansen (Nylon John)

Hello everyone - My name is John Hansen (Nylon John) - I started playing guitar at age 10 - I've played electric, steel, and classical - For the past four years, I have been playing a hand-made Alvarez classical almost exclusively - I've written many songs over the years - But I took a break 30 years ago to write the 3 most beautiful songs I will ever manage to write - Those 3 songs are my children; John II, Annie, and Shawnee - So recently, I've been trying to write songs that will compliment my beautiful children - In addition, I am playing and composing new songs and reviving old ones with my brother Pete Hansen - He is by far the best musician I have ever encountered - (Piano, guitar, bass, singing, and a most profound lyricist) - We are putting together songs from a very long list, both recent projects and those from years past - I appreciate the opportunities and connections provided by Broadjam - Thanks to all - John

Hi John! Your comments and scores on "But I Don't Know" and "Fantasy Time" were hilariously low, actually the worst ever! Both songs rarley fall below 48/50. Both have been playing in Europe for over 20 years, and recently in London. They were recorded in Elvis' old studio in Memphis with members of Black Oak Arkansas and The Memphis horns. Also, if all you have to say is "nothing in particular", do you really think you are helping the writer at all? Please have the courtesy to explain to the songwriter what or how they could improve the song in your own (way out of bounds) opinion. I'm trying to help you here my friend in hopes you won't decimate others down this wary musical road. Also, John, your songs sound pretty cool! Good Luck! Catnip Pat=+=

Patrick - I must apologize - We had a family friend visiting our home - He is an accomplished musician - He asked if he could check out the latest from this site - I logged him in and he played a lot of my songs - He took it a bit further obviously - Now I'm curious, and I want to listen to your songs - I will also reach out to him and ask him about "But I Dom't Know" and "Fantasy Time" - Thank You

.. No sweat - My brother Tim and l played for 50 years! No Better life! We have the German Richard Wagner in our bloodline--What A gas! Enjoying your tunes! That Alverez sounds sweet! P. '
