About John Dawson
Guitarist/ Composer John Dawson is a graduate of the Humber College Music Program in Toronto. He has spent much of the last decade working towards honing his craft as a performer, composer and improviser for the sole purpose of creating music that is thoughtful, subtle and steeped in a devotion to the relationship between art and the sacred. This devotion has continually landed him on the national stage as a writer, musician, teacher and journalist specializing in modern music in the context of worship and liturgy. Along with his many musical pursuits, he currently serves on the National Council of Liturgical music, an advisory body to the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops and is regularly contacted for consultation and workshop projects.
