I started playing guitar at an early age with music being my lifelong passion. I started performing in a country band when I was 15 in a lot of local honky tonks until I joined a rock group where we played a lot of music that is now known as classic rock, but I never forgot my roots with country music being raised mostly on a farm a in a farming community,
After becoming a locomotive engineer i couldn't continue playing in a band with my hours and time working away from home but I later got involved with songwriting and have never looked back.
I have had success with licensing and I'm always writing new songs when the creativity hits me. It's not the amount of commercial success that keeps me writing it's the gratification of knowing my songs can inspire someone's life or make a positive Influence. Life begins and ends with a song.
