A native of Dallas Texas, Jay Stanford attended Southern Methodist University and obtained a bachelors degree in Advertising. He immediately opened his business creating a studio for the recording and composing of music for film radio and broadcast media - including complete scores for independent film production companies.

Believing that one can never have enough tools in their belt, Mr. Stanford earned a second degree from the University of Texas as a Bachelor of Music. During this period, Jay maintained an active role as a musical performer playing with some of the most respected names in the regional industry, and receives high acclaim as a composer and performer.

Present clients include many familiar and respected companies, such as American Airlines, Chevrolet and The Texas State Lottery. Mr. Stanford also continues to record, produced and publish a wide variety of music for many popular regional artists, while still composing his own music, featured on his current CD.
