Andrew Ingkavet is a songwriter/composer who creates cinematic pop songs, electronica and soundtracks. His work has been featured in major advertisements, independent film, multimedia work, on Broadway and at the United Nations.

In the early 90's he helped start up MTV-Asia as a VJ with a daily audience of millions from Mongolia to the Philippines, israel to India. He was signed to a publishing deal with MMA Music Group Asia (INXS' inhouse publishing company) and toured Southeast Asia with his band Hot Sauce. He was the scheduled opener for Bon Jovi in Hong Kong but at the last minute, a typhoon had a direct hit on the city and the concert was cancelled(!). Biggest show was as local headliner for the Wanchai International Music festival with 10,000, live MTV broadcast (3 camera shoot!) and loads of fans singing along. Toured Vietnam (before the embargo was lifted!) and travelled extensively in Asia exploring his Thai/Chinese and Korean roots.

Coming back to New York in 1996, he joined the dotcom era and provided music and art direction to many a multimedia and online presentation with clients such as American Express, MetLife, Compaq, USPostal Service, and television spots for Reebok, Timberland, Converse, and many others.

Andrew's influences come from his interdisciplinary interests in music, literature, visual art, design, religion, cooking and travel. He has a Bachelors of Music from NYU and he was an actor with numerous roles in off-Broadway theater.

I kind of forgot I had set this up and shocked and amazed to hear my old music. It's been a while. So I need to tidy things up and upload some new stuff.
