Artist Biography

Genesis Renji is not a rapper. He is this era's balance between the Hip Hop, Poetry and Gospel genres. Showing the world dedication through music is Renji's main goal. From tour performances with Lutheran artists Rachel Kurtz and AGAPE to dedicating hours into the studio, Renji knows what it takes to be the artist people will always remember. His latest release, "Milwaukee Nights", shows the world that Renji is ready for Hip Hop. A Maryland native yet Milwaukee emcee, Renji has made strong efforts to establish who he is. Whether its working with well known Milwaukee artist Pizzle or opening for Hip Hop/Jazz artist Klassik, Renji knows and shows what hard work and dedication gets you. Having previously performed at the ELCA National Youth Gathering (2012) at the New Orleans Superdome and recently opening for Jean Grae & Pharoah Monche, one could only imagine how impeccable Renji's stage presence may be. His powerful, sonorous sound is one to capture an audience no matter how big or small. His lyrics are all personal testimonies from the perspective of a developing Hip Hop artist.
