Jonathan was born and raised in the epic state of Texas. He spent his formative years in Waxahachie, the cultural and social hub of the state. It was there that he finely honed his creative skills that would lay the groundwork for his future career. He graduated with a BA in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA in 2001.

Most recently, Jonathan has been doing contract work for Juniper Music in Dallas. He was hired to create a cd of Triumphant/Inspirational music to help them update a large music library. Jonathan released his debut album, Essex, inspired by Nathaniel Philbrick's In the Heart of the Sea, in May of 2005. He has worked with film directors both locally and internationally. Jonathan also composed the music for an internet promo trailer of I Heart Huckabees featuring Naomi Watts.
