Franchise Bio
Being blessed with the ability to sing, write, and produce, music comes so easily to the very talented and Gold-inspired artist Franchise. Striving for perfection in all aspects of his life, music is something the came naturally. Born in a small town outside of Dallas TX, Jonathan “Franchise” started singing at the age of 6. Coming from a close knit family that was musically inclined on both sides, he had no choice but to be apart of music where it became is life. Getting in trouble at school for singing to much during class to home where sometimes his parents would have to make him stop singing shows the passion that he has for music. His family, teachers, and friends supported him in his music. Franchise was apart of a phenomenal gospel trio Loyalty, who consist of his older sister Charity, younger cousin Victoria, and him self for 14 years. And also a former member of an R&B group Lejend. It comes to no surprise the hard work, patience, and dedication that is associated with being in the music business. Jonathan has dealt with bad management, being lied to, taking advantage of, and to having his music stolen. “I know what it’s like to feel like your on your way up and trusting and having all faith in someone that said they will take care of you, to just being dropped like a piece of garbage. It’s very hurtful”. Infuriated, Franchise took control of his career and began to do everything his self from writing, producing, arranging, and managing. “It was difficult because I didn’t know anything about the business side of music. Yet I refused to put my career in someone else hands cause I was tired of being hurt so I grew as a leader, artist, and stronger person”. Despite all the negativity that he has faced, Franchise still has the effort and drive to become the next biggest entertainer and to also achieve success in the music industry as well as other things.
