Da U Boys Rise To The Top
New Orleans Hip Hop & Bounce Music are Making its way back to mainstream. On April 16, 2010 RUE ROIS Music was launched by childhood friends Roderick (aka "Rock Shot"), Ronald (aka "Hick Louch"), & Devin (aka "17th Snoop") For some years now New Orleans Artists has struggled to try and get back to pre Katrina status, even before Katrina times was very hard for talent trying to make a name for themselves coming out of New Orleans to say the least. Da UBoys received there first local brake at the time on a access show named It's All Good TV they had a video one contest going on where the best group or artist through a six week contest would win a music video. DA U Boys where the best in the competition and went on to win the video one contest.
Da U Boys Singed with a local Label but things did not quite work out, and they moved on. For a few years the group put out some mix tapes and tried to stay relevant in and around New Orleans music scenes. One of the members contacted the producers of the show they first got their brake from and asked them if they could guide them in the music business. John & Glenda Robert now having a statewide syndicated show that was picked up in 2007 by the LCN TV Net Work out of Houma Louisiana agreed to help Da U Boys by getting them to start their own Recording Company and showing them the in and out to it. The label was formed and many artists have supported them. The currently have song for the album with Former "NO Limit "National recording artists Fiend & Mia X, "Cash Money" national recording artist Magnolia Chop New Orleans Legends "Partners N Crime" (PNC) and living legend "Producer J Dawg" from the hit Group Black Menaence just to name a few. The New Orleans branch of the GO DJs have been spinning their hit single "Boyfriend" in clubs through out the south and has gotten rave reviews from them and the public. The song have been featured by on air personality Wild Wayne of 504 Radio WQUE Q93fm and presently getting spins on Power 102.9 fm New Orleans by Definition DJ Chicken who is an on air personality at the station
