Sharon has been schooled in numerous instruments throughout her life, including piano, violin, recorder and alto saxophone. After nearly 20 years in the corporate world as an engineer and manager, Sharon decided to dedicate herself full-time to her music in 2003. She set up a studio in her home and allowed her creative energy to flow. She also completed her Masters Certificate in Songwriting in 2006, and received her Specialist Certificate in Orchestration for Film and TV in early 2013 from the Berklee College of Music (online). Sharon is continuing her music studies in production, composing and harmony classes through a number of online schools!

Sharon's original instrumentals display a wide range of genres from piano to orchestral renderings that cross the boundaries of New Age, Neo-Classical, Soundtrack, Ambient and Electronic. Instrumentation includes piano, strings, various orchestral instruments, percussion as well as many flavors of synthesizers. The pieces range from quiet, introspective melodies to well-tempered electronica to rich orchestrations. She is interested in exploring topics such as Nature, Introspection, Mysteries of Life, and Spirituality through her music.
She has released 6 New Age CDs on her own (the latest, Lake of Dreams, was released in DECEMBER 2021). She has also collaborated with local songwriter, Joyce Tumea, on the Holiday Treasures CD in December 2007, and with Dorothy May, PhD on the guided meditation and music CD Be Still and Breathe, which was released in July 2009.
