Biography

Sawyer has been performing and entertaining a crowd since the young age of 17. Although country at heart with a smooth rich vocal, Sawyer is versatile enough to rock up the stage. Performing is Sawyer's passion but writing takes a very close second place. Sawyer has a catalog of great songs from traditional country to edgy rock. Although he has written many songs himself he prefers co-writing with great songwriters. "There's nothing like getting together with a fellow writer and feeding off each others ideas". Sawyer has recently signed a Record Deal with 1010 RECORDS under Tower Entertainment Group in Nashville, TN.
Sawyer will be finishing his EP in December 2011. Sawyer will also be staring in a motion picture under Tower Entertainment Group and taking on parts as himself in the Series "Nashville Road"! Big things are coming in 2012 from Donny Sawyer.
