Dee Jay Nelson has been writing, performing, and teaching music for over 15 years. He has studied under guitar virtuoso George Bellas, Jazz great Bob Palmieri, and has a degree in music composition from Depaul University. My music has been featured on radio and tv spots as well as on recordings with national distribution such as the Baglady album "Bad Popsicle" and Spyder Baby's "Let Us Prey". The song "Rio" composed by Dee Jay is featured on the Bad Popsicle album and saw international distribution as a pre-loaded mp3 on the Rio "One" mp3 player. Let Us Prey features Dee's sinful song writing on the raucous opening track "Watch You Die" as well as Dee's arrangement of the 80's hair metal band L.A. Guns track "Sex Action". Dee has also performed on a national level with Fashion Bomb, Spyder Baby, George Bellas, and Baglady.
