Dmitri Farkov is D'estri Aero. A producer, recording engineer, and a band all in one. Born in Russia, and spending most of his life in Toronto, Canada, Dmitri has established his own definite style, leaving a noticeable mark on the music world.
The name D'estri Aero came from Dmitri's imagination. D'estri stands for Dreamer and Aero stands for Flying. Direct translation therefore would be A Levitating Dreamer. This symbolizes the eternal dreamer inside each one of us who never stops on hoping, despite the pressure imposed by the surrounding environment.

D'estri Aero is a by-product of a post-communist regime in Russia, and the capitalist society of Canada. Born in a siberian city, and raised in Canada, D'estri aero is used to harsh winters, and writes songs about the season quite frequently. His musical career started with doing soundtrack work for indie game development and 3D movie projects. At a concurrent time, he organized a band of local misfits. They were called "Lethal Dose," and the name did not really suit them as they were all scrawny and not scary. D'estri Aero sang and played bass guitar. Over the years D'estri Aero and the band, had a indie label deal, and lost it. Consequently due to drug habits of certain members, the band became defunct.
This, however, did not stop D'estri Aero from starting a own solo project. Effectively he switched instrument from bass to guitar. This is how this project was born and has been nurtured over the years to become an act of it's own - an intertwining web of acoustic styles. Some may call it folk, and some may call it emo, but D'estri Aero prefers to describe his sound as "Bright Eyes but a bit whinier, and with better vocals." All of the music D'estri Aero has recorded up to date, has been done so in a little nook he likes to call his home studio.
D'estri Aero's real name is Dmitri Farkov, and he takes oath that the above information is certifiably true. He is always open to gigs, record deals, and any form of money (imaginary/made-up currencies excluded).
