Dave McGrath has recorded on several albums including Seattle based Tribal Therapy, and The Puddle Jumpers. In 2002 he moved from Seattle back to upstate NY and upon completion os his studio he began recording his self titled debut solo project which he released in May 2005.
Dave has recorded a very impressive collection of pop rock songs; music similar to such artsits as Gavin DeGraw, John Mayer & Howie Day yet McGrath has crafted his own uniuqe sound. Great hooks, and lush vocals highlight these passionate tunes. He is currently recording his follow up album titled "First of Something." He has recently partnered with Tinderbox Music who are promoting the CD to 300 college radio stations across the U.S.

Dave McGrath Full Bio
Dave McGrath was born in Kingston Ontario Canada. He moved to Rochester N.Y. when he was two and began studying music in grammar school. After playing in some local bands in high school and college he moved to Seattle Washington where he began performing both as a solo artist as well as with several popular bands.
In 2001 Dave moved back to Rochester NY, and began performing acoustically, as well as with a full band, while continuing to write and record original material. In 2003 he completed construction of a state of the art 32 channel recording studio and released his debut album in May 2005 to enthusiastic fans.
The CD contains 12 original songs written by McGrath which range in style from singer songwriter to bluesy/pop rock. The production is major label quality and the performances by McGrath and his musicians are impressive. Great vocals and thoughtful lyrics highlight the themes behind these songs. A great listen from start to finish which garnered great reviews and is selling well on line and at his live shows.
Dave is currently recording his next full length album and has partnered with Tinderbox Music promoting his debut self titled CD to over 300 college stations across the U.S. and Canada. He is receiving solid airplay and has charted on CMJ. He performs live 5 nights a week throughout the NY area and plans to tour to support the release of the next CD due out in Nov 2006.
His stage presense and sense of humor combined with his wide range of music make his shows captivating for people of all ages. A popular entertainer at several college campuses as well as a long list of fairs, festivals and radio events prove his appeal to a large demographic of listeners.
