As a lyricist, I write in many genres -- mostly pop, country and rock. In addition, musical theater is an area for which I've enjoyed writing. I have been writing songs for about 20 years and enjoy collaborating with artists and other writers. I find that my co-writers' talents always raise my level of creativity and inspiration.

One of my songs, "Headlights," co-written with Larry Lynum and Mark Lightcap, was used in two episodes of "Sisters" on NBC-TV. I also have been fortunate enough to have some other songs of mine used regionally and locally. Several years back I was named Co-Writer of the Year (with Debra Zemke) by the Tennessee Songwriters Association.

I look forward to utilizing MySpace to develop new relationships and expand my songwriting career. Hope to see you soon! --Dan
