Thanks! Yeah the drummer is real. This is my organ trio Hambone Relay...drums, gtr, B3. From a bunch of new tracks we just finished recording.
Drummer is awesome.
Thanks SS! I'll pass along the compliment. He's only 21! Quite the badass!
Higher/Great mix,Instruments,70/s sound.Ripping Guit solo.Vocals and harmonies awesome and the hidden B3.Good work Mark
Greetings! This is Patrick Dieter. I reviewed one of your songs around a month ago, but didn't have any of my own stuff up yet. I cared enough to be honest, so you may or may not have actually liked my review. Whatever the case, I would be honored to receive a review and/or critique from you of my first song. Thanks and I wish you well!
Hi Mark and thank you for the kind and VERY accurate review of Cookie Cutter Blonde (instrumental)--you are spot on, this is just the backing track to the vocal Cookie Cutter Blonde, you might check the punkish tune out if you have time, you'll get it...and again, RARELY do many folks to the review process so seriously (well I do, LOL) but your review was detailed and well said my new friend, thank you! Warren Hein
Hi Mark, thank you for your review of "You Must Be Jokin", it is very much appreciated. I originally wrote this piece as an Exam piece for some of my students but it has morphed some what since then.
Hey Mark I added 3.5K and 150 hrtz to "Catch Me"Has more definition now.I can't add anymore EQ.
Dear Mark You reviewed my song 'slow to go' last week sometime - you've probably forgotten by now. Anyway thanks for that interesting review. I enjoyed reading your perspective on it and will take on board what you say. Best wishes John
Thanks for the review of my "stumbling" glad you like it
Thank you Mark.... however, the complements go to my singer, Susan Sacco! Best, Jackie
Mark, thanks for your review! I'm in process of reproducing everything with Pro Tools, EZDrummer2 and a good condenser mic. Everything I've posted is from analog demo cassettes. I'm also shopping to produce vocalists for my archives. Blessings!
No problem. I really liked the tune and the guitar shredding was awesome! Better-sounding vocals will really clean it up and make it great. EZ Drummer is incredible. That will definitely make this tune pop! After you reproduce it, I'd love to hear the final product. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the encouraging words! Haven't made it over to listen to your stuff yet but I'm guessing you make my favorite instrument, The Hammond B3 squall. I loved the early Journey/Santana Greg Rollie stuff. Learned to play guitar listening to Neil Schon way before Steve Perry joined them. Thanks again!
Mark Thank you for the 5 star rating on the Song " In Pace Requiescat " I really appreciate it ! I've been listening to your cuts as well and enjoying your talented work ! Blackhearted wuld work perfectly for a credit roll in a dark movie ! Well done ! I had the same idea for " In Pace Requiescat" for a Tarantino -esque film Thanks again maybe with a little luck effort and the hand of fate will be heard on the same film - Cheers -Tony DiPofi
Thanks for the kind words Tony. I'm loving your other stuff as well. Keep up the good work.
Greetings Mark - Thank you for your appraisal of my works. The sandpaper sound you referred to happened to be the high-hat. I now know what direction to go in when recording "real" drums.
Hi Mark: I can tell you've been around for a while. i sent that off to an Opportunity reality TV Placing . I let you know what happens. Did You ever get any placements through Broadjam and got paid for it ? My friend doesn't believe that all these people get placed. He use to play with the "Osmonds".Real Skeptic.??
That's cool man. Good luck on your submission. I've only been doing Broadjam for a little while and haven't gotten any placements yet. It seems legit, but I guess I'll have to see it to believe it.
Hi Mark --thanks so much for your great review of Tastes Like Chicken (and for comparing it to GCS!!!!). Anyone who knows about Graham Central Station deserves a complete listen. I really liked all your tunes. There are some classic Beatlesque and Allmans hooks in there (yeah so maybe that = Traffic lol). Glad to make your acquaintance!!! ~Jeff
And thanks again for Blue Morning too --kind words and useful feedback!!
No problem Jeff! I really dig your tunes. Keep up the work!
Hey Mark, Thanks for the review of Smack Dab. I appreciate your comments and insights. Cheers! Michael
Greetings Mark - I want to thank you for your clear and subjective review of my works. This information will be vital to future mixes and Masters. Thanks Again.
No problem Donald. You've definitely got a great tune there with some really great playing. Just a few tweaks and mixing and I would call it perfect! Keep up the great work.
Thanks Mark :Catch me is dated and i had some one master it for me on a Helicon Mastering module at that time, maybe I can tweak some life back in it with some 3 hz or so.You gave me an Idea. Thanks Don
No problem Don. I definitely dig it. Keep up the good work.
Hey Mark: Your playing my favorite keyboard in your picture The B3. I had one long time ago. Don
