I LOVED this! Not a big Christmas fan but....I am Irish and a SUNSPOT fan!
Dig Breathe bros.--don't see this as Gospel much, more of a good lyric, but hell, it's great tune either way! kudos...oh, go on the lyric page and fix some of them as you listen, a few key words early on in 1st verse, etc are wrong...
I LOVE THIS TUNE--you do hard really good, but what i like is we can hear every word without looking at the lyric sheet--WELL DONE GENTS!! WH
damn well done on Disinformation Nation, great regardless if we are on the "left" or "right"...ps, i'm left...WH
Thanks Warren!

Great job on this!
Sunspot is an amazing group. They are truly Rock Stars and love what they do!
Sunspot. Groovy new tunes! Especially El Chupacabra. G+Fun singing Espanol. -El Nick
reverse engineering...nice
Sunspot, You'all are Superstars and need more plays! Go forth an Be the Love. Especially love Skeleton Key as it is my line of country. Great Job! - Nick
Awesome new tunes, and Spot On! Let me know if anyone in the band wants to collaborate with the LovePops. I am always looking for new friends to make new music with. For you, I recommend Mary at the Gates of Hell or Love Crime. Love is All!
I'm looking forward to the show tonight!
Yeah, us too!
Sunspot!!!
Thanks for the review! We totally need a good mix out on that song.
Hey dudes, to go forward, "Party Town" isn't the exact sound the band is pursuing. That song was more of an experiment. "Just Got Away" & "Miami" are more accurate to where the band is heading. Thanks for reviewing!
You kids are awesome!!!
Thanks for the add guys! keep up the good work!
Hi Sunspot, Thanks for the review of I'll Give You Strength. You made some good suggestions to improve the song. I understand your concern about the vocals coming in later. As a guitar player, I felt that the tune was defined by the guitar part with the delay. I wanted the listener to savor that before the vocals came in. But there is probably a compromise. I thought of Peter Gabriel all the way when I stepped back and listened to this tune. A friend of mine did the vocals after I sent him the Sonar master file. When I got the master back, it was funky to mix the way I wanted. I guess you picked up on that a little. Anyhow, I appreciate your compliments and comments.
Thank you for the truly useful review of my song "Reach Out"! I will see what I can do to push this one to the next level.
Hey! Good to connect with your personages. :-)
Members of Sunspot, Thank you for your review of "Morphisis". I am guilty as charged! Working alone - I did the song track by track in 2007/8. I used Guitar Tracks Pro for the multi-tracking...I used a keyboard to MIDI the drums - but did some intense track modifications to tighten it up - yielding OK results at the time. The guitar work was pumped through a Boss BR8 using guitar modified modeling. I am upgrading my studio and hope to "re-c" reate the song track by track using a mike(d) Fender Super Reverb amplifier (my favorite), un-modeled effects, and mike(d) drum kit - Thanks again for your review and keep jammin'. Dave
Hi Sunspot. Thanks a lot for the review of " If looks could kill " Your quite right about the mix it does need doing again. It's from a musical I've been writing for ages and so will get a makeover when I've completed the whole thing. Again thanks. Oh and by the way have just listened to some of your stuff. Great live sound. Anyway take care. Regards Thomas.
Hello - thank you for your review of my song "Everyday". Your assessment of the recording is spot on. Recorded at my desk with an Alesis 2 in interface, presonus Bluetube dp and a Studio Projects B1 mic. Mixed on Altec Lansing multimedia computer speakers...and yes, the guitar was plucked! I am a bassist that is learning recording and guitar as none of my buddies will come over and play for me! I have some better gear now, including some Tannoy 601 monitors and at 40fs headphones, and am planning on re-doing the song soon. Thanks again! matt
Keep it up, Matt. You've definitely got a great voice and we look forward to hearing more!
Hey ,,How are you..I have looked through mu old reviews and I do not see yours in my completed section.. That said I am listening to it now..It is a cool little song..You have a very unique voice..That is a good thing I think.. Whoever did do your review said nice things I hope..But I find little kindness in the Artist reviews..I have decided not to ask my peers.. So you have me confused with who did it,,I just started using the sight again in March..Again Good Luck to you..Its tough out there..Peace Steve..
Fucking A, Charlie. I've been listening to all of your songs, well done!
Thanks for your review on "Let You Be". I hear ya on the sound quality, this was done on a TASCAM DP01fx. Also I am the singer, back up singer, drummer, bass player, rhythm n lead guitar player on this song. Pretty much a demo n I was looking for input on the song before I take it to the studio. Thanks!
hello Sunspot's...great name BTW, Sunspot... thanx for your review of my song Rock, Paper, Scissors, and your comments are right on, since i'm singing this myself and i'm well, south of 59 and counting, i am a bit breathy, but it's about a dying brother (all made up BTW...so far anyway...LOL) i intended it to be these old guys together, reminiscing, etc, which i THINK works...but again i'm singing my own song, which will be on my album next year, so thought i needed to sing it myself, and it's one of my better vocals....blah blah blah...but thanks for the good review and your comments ARE "spot" on...whoa! that just flew out...you've heard it before i'm sure...LOL the best to you and yours and happy new year! warren hein, songwriter
Accidentally submitted my review before finishing the last couple of things. Really good song, but I had a hard time making out the chorus and that's why I couldn't figure out the title. But nice recording, good vocal and solo! Would love to hear a bridge on that track as well.
Thanks a lot for the helpful feedback. I will indeed go back and see if I can bring some sonic clarity to the BG vocals in the chorus. I've had the same observation myself.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review and comment on Days Like That. I really appreciate your words of support and for your time in listening. Thank you again and wishing you well, Melsi
Hey Fellow Madisonians. Thanks for your helpful review of my song "it ain't my time." your suggestions were very helpful. Btw, I worked with Eric Katte for about 10 yrs now; i believe he helped engineer your recent studio endeavor (?). Nevertheless, thank you!
p.s. I'll see you Friday at your CD release party!
Awesome! Eric is a fantastic engineer and a really nice guy. Your songs sound great and we hope we can share the stage sometime soon!
