Thanks for the great review of "get the job done"!
My sincere pleasure:)!! All the best Steve!
Thanks for the review!
Thanks so much for the review Kate. I wrote this song for Huggies diapers and they didn't use it so we started a Children's Music band called "Big Bang Boom" and put it on an album. you can find more here http://www.reverbnation.com/bigbangbooomband#!/bigbangboom again thank you!
Hey Steve, Sorry Huggies didn't use your GREAT song. Get a load of this one I wrote...bet Huggies would just love it ... ha ha. the Potty Trainng Song: http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?play_file=24409_480913 there is a "cleaner" version of the song without the "terms" Your songwriting friend in FL, Mrs Kate
Steve, Found you through Bob's comment. He is correct about your voice, but I would prefer just you and your guitar (acoustic) as your lyrics are really meant to be Modern Folk (or Urban Folk/Alternative folk). We both deal with the same issues, but just in different genres. Welcome to BroadJam, where you get to meet like minds for further inspiration! - Nick
Hi Roy, i'm a new member via Songwriter Universe. Great site you have here man. Thanks!
Your material, your style is very compelling. You sing great..nice and clear, and the texture of your voice is perfect for your style. If I may, you could take your work to a level that would go through the roof if you used a lot of back up vocals...harmonizing, so forth and using brass and strings. Your songs are that good. You asked for my opinion, I'm being honest. Widen your arrangements with strings, brass and vocals...not to copy...but what I'm talking about is what Van Morrison does. Your songs are very, very good...they warrant it. Take care my friend.
Steve, Thanks for the nice note and welcome to Broadjam....Best of luck, Roy
Hi Roy Well I'm back in the saddle again at Broadjam. I really enjoy Broadjam and there is a lot of great artist here. My music is doing well on New Age and Smooth Jazz FM. But really wanting to hit the Film/TV end. I have had a little success but my nitch is a very narrow one no doubt. Great talking to you again the best to you my friend. Bill Wren
Bill, Thanks for the nice note. The key to writing good film & tv music is making sure the music matches the target. The best thing to do is watch the top 10 shows to get a feel for what is currently hot (from a music perspective.). We see many writers who are great, but not necessarily delivering what is current and requested.....Best of luck and keep me posted on your success.....Roy
Thank you Steve for the review "There and Back Again (As I Slip Away), performed by the same musicians on my theme album Made In Revere. You can check out the central song to the album, "Revere Cruisin'" on Youtube. Thanks again Steve. Bob
No problem man, keep up the good works!! If you get a chance i would love some feedback on my stuff, i'm pretty new to the "peer" review thing.
