Hi Rob, thanks for the review of Highway Song. To be honest, I didn't really intend this song to be a stand alone piece as it's part of a concept album 'Eagle'. Thanks for the comments and good luck with your music. John.
OK as a concept album I can see it -makes sense. Thanks for your latest review
Hey Rob! Thanks for the review of "Callus". It's the most recent track i've had picked up for television. Best wishes!!
You have got talent Esther, and bags of it , I have just posted 'Tmothy's' Tower' to my facebook page to spread the word so to speak, you are star quality
Thank you Dave, your words are very kind and encouraging.
Special, magical and poetical-not many like you these days
Thank you Rob!
Hi ROB THANKS FOR YOUR KIND REVIEW, GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR MUSIC
You reviewed my song-Ireland my emerald isle and while you may have a point about the production etc I think there is a problem with pop artists reviewing folk artists who would not understand anything outside the commercial side of things. It might be best to stick to your approprite genre or approach things from another angle -poet Rob Byron
Dear Rob, I'm a record label owner and Grammy voting member with a long history background in the professional music recording industry I'd be glad for you to look into anytime. Sorry if you didn't understand my review from a producers prospective. Sincerely meant to help and not hinder your views toward the professional music industry people who have reached the Grammy voting membership level internationally. God bless and wishing you well always.
PS: I was a folk singer songwriter artist first in my club performing years ever before I learned to stretch my abilities and have even written an Irish ditty as my father's mother was Irish:) tee hee!
Hope all is going well for you these days there in Ireland:) All is good in Southern CA USA but climate is hot in the summers:) Ciao!
Just reviewed your song, and would like to join up some way along the path.I'm back that way in June, for the summer,in Burton.Could also do something in Spain-have a listen on www.robbyron.com or on this site Cheers Rob
Hi Rob. Thanks for the honest review of my song, "Aint it Funny". You are absolutely right. I really need to work on my musical build up and expression. I'm mainly tossing a few "uncooked" songs out for a feel of my lyrics and concepts. I just found an engineer in town that is willing to work with my raw tracks because he's bored! Would you be willing to re-review my songs when remixed? Thanks again Dave
Sure that would be fine, let me know, kep the faith Rob Byron
Nick,Glad you appreciated the review, just listened to it again, maybe some Jeff Buckley in there.Nobody's mentioned Nick Drake before, often John Prine,Bob Dylan. The Waterboys are back together again, and touring, dont know the song you mentioned by them,my favourite was always Fisherman's blues.I thought they were quite popular in the States. Cheers to you! Rob
Rob, Thanks for your kind review of "Feel the Light". You vocal style reminds me of Nick Drake (if he cheered up a bit). The Waterboys were one of my favorites, especially "All the Things she gave me", but they were obscure here in the US. Since we have mutual pals in common, I will send you a Connection Request. Cheers! - Old Nick
Hey Rob, Thanks for the nice review of my song, "The Mother Road" from my CD, "Modern Progress". You can hear more at my Broadjam site...if you like. Best. Chet Nichols
Hi Rob, Thank you for the very detailed and favorable review of VOICES. It was/is an experimental piece and through the encouragement of many people such as you, I will continue to explore this approach. All the best, Peace, Robert Wuagneux
