Thanks for your review of "You Turn Me On". If I ever re-record this, Ill do away with the abundance of reverb...that was a rookie mistake as I recorded this tune years ago and didnt really know what I was doing...I'm not sure I do now...LOL. I was probably trying to cover up my vocal pitch being off...ha ha. Have a great day.
Yeah I figured that song was done years ago...lol..keep rocking that guitar!
thanks man...
Hi Tom...thanks for your review of "Road That Never Turns"......I appreciate your suggestions and agree with them. If I ever record this tune in a real studio (it was recorded in my little "closet studio") I will definitely utilize your suggestions...thanks for listening and for your input.... Have a great day, Paul Mills
Thanks for your review of "Morning In Manhattan"...and for the suggestions. I agree with your comments. It was one of my first compositions from years ago and was, in fact, more of a Jam...sometimes, I think about going back and cleaning it up because i do realize it gets quite muddy and a bit monotonous in places...maybe one of these days.... I listened to your tunes and I am VERY impressed....stellar musicianship...awesome! You truly have a gift... Sincerly, Paul Mills
Wow thanks Paul! And thanks also for forgiving me for the review... hope I wasn't too harsh. If that Morning in Manhattan had a little more clarity and sense of direction it certainly would work very well. Thanks so much for the compliments on my music. Sometimes, I guess because of the enormous number of good and great musicians out there, it's hard to stay focussed, wondering if one's stuff really is up to the mark. It's encouragement like yours that keeps us all moving forward. Noticing the fine musicianship on your own piece there, if you ever feel the whim to collaborate, keep my email address to hand.... simon@simonpcfrost.com
btw love that groove on The Last Best Thing
Thanks Simon...and your quite welcome for the comments...I really enjoy your tunes. The "studio" i record in is actually a corner of our bedroom and as long as I don't disturb my wife too often, I like to mess around with the ancient recording stuff I use...ha ha. If you could see what I actually use for recording, you would probably laugh...ha ha. I will certainly keep your email address...It would be nice to collaborate... Talk to you soon... Paul
You are extremely talented Dolly...and it's a pleasure to listen to your music. Paul Mills
Hey Paul I have been there with home recordings, haha. I did that for a long time in the beginning of my career. I did enjoy the song though :-) Thank you so much for your kindness regarding my music. I really appreciate the compliments! Hope you had a happy holiday!
Thanks for the review of "bring back rock and roll"...and I agree about the vocals. I recorded this on 14 years ago...don't know if I'm much better these days, but I should probably re-record this...I'm no singer that's for sure...i'm just a guitarist... the song definitely needs updating with a better vocalist and a more modern edge...It's kind of interesting to note that back then, when this was written, Rock and Roll was still around somewhat---pop radio today seems to be devoid of it...If I had only known...LOL.....thanks again for the review.
Thanks Joe...for the kind review and the comment! I really appreciate it. Hope all is well with you...
paul--i really liked your guitar solo-video-i put it omy favorite play list--cheers--joe
thanks...it was a rather long solo...the singer had ripped his pants...ha ha...it was a fill until he could get backstage and change...
paul--you are a rocker!!!!--i dig your stuff--cheers--joe
Thank you for your review and comments for "Something 'Bout the Rain". They are very helpful to me in my pursuit of songwriting and recording. Tom
I hope you win the lottery and get a number one hit (since the latter doesn't guarantee $$$ anymore) You are so enthusiastic and positive toward all the songwriters on here- what music should be about. Rock on Nashville Joe :)
thank you my dear-joe
i concur....rock on Nashville Joe!....we all appreciate your efforts....
Thanks again Paul for your comments on "Fling". Buc
Thanks for the good review of "You Said You'd Call Me" - I'm glad you like it! David
no prob David...it's a very hitworthy song...awesome...
thank you for the review of "Unconditionally" and I agree with your comments about the production and the length...it was recorded in my "home" studio and produced by me in a hurry...it was a gift for my wife on valentines day...and of course, I waited until the night before to do it...ha ha....anyway, I may rerecord this one day and shorten it...once again, thanks for the review and I wish you the best of luck!
also, I listened to your music and it is AWESOME! You have a beautiful voice! I love the tunes!
Thanks Paul for the review of Above the Law. I think your constructive critique was right on. I appreciate your honesty. I need to rerecord it with your suggestions.

Hi Paul and greetings from Ireland. Many thanks for the positive review of "Wish I Had a Penny" - much appreciated. All the best with all the music. Ben www.bensands.com
Hi Roy, I've been a broadjam member for many years...It seems like it was around 2003 when I first joined...it is an awesome tool for musicians and keeps getting better everyday! Thanks a million! Paul Mills Nashville, TN
Paul, Thanks for the note and being a veteran member. I am listening to your playlist as I write this. Good stuff, great guitar work. Just finished listening to Cap Cooks Jam, love it....All the best, Roy

Some really wonderful music here Paul, just listening to Night Drive. Stunning guitar playing, you can tell how much you love performing and how natural all this is for you. Classy perfomance Paul. Wishing you well, Melsi
Hi Paul, thank you so much on your review for Tears Run Dry. I really appreciate you taking the time to have a listen. Of course you are right, the quality of the recording is not great, I think the musicians had a small home studio, maybe one day we will aim to get a better production all round. So glad you liked the lyrics, that's my job!! LOL... Thank you again, take care, Melsi
thanks for the nice review-paul--joe
it's a very well written song...enjoyed it.
Thank you for the review

Hello Paul, Thanks for reviewing "and I'm still loving you" Glad to know that you liked it, and thanks for your input as to how it could be improved. Best regards, Helen.
Youre very welcome Helen...it sounds great, and I listened to some of your other tunes and really enjoyed them. I always hesitate when giving constructive criticism because I sure dont want anyone to take it the wrong way...God knows my songs could be torn apart from beginning to end with all of the little things wrong with them...LOL! Just offering my opinion on what I hear...and what i've heard from your song selection is very nice! Peace, Paul Mills
thanks for the review of "You Can't Have Your Cake"....that was recorded quite awhile ago during a "difficult time" in my life (that's putting it mildly...ha ha). I had almost forgotten about this tune...I really appreciate the kind words and the good review. Paul
