Johnny, thank you for the great and thorough review of my song "Bite the Bullet." I worked really hard on it and I was afraid people would be critical. By the way, Congratulations on your 2 top ten songs and especially for getting your song "Toontastic" licensed. Way to go man! Keep it Metal.
Thanks for the great review of my song "I, Zombie'. I appreciate the high score, as well as the comments. I'd love to have that song featured in the new AMC series, "The Walking Dead"..... I gave a listen to a few of your tracks, Bite the Bullet has that nice old school metal vibe to it. Like your vocal styling.....puts me in the frame of mind of someone like Quuensryche, those type of vocals aren't easy to achieve, I know. Solid playing too. Wish you much success! See you were originaly from TN, ......Northeast TN here!
hey johnny--this mathis guy is pretty darn good--has he heard your /ant hill/composition yet?--cheers--joe
I THANK YOU MR. MATHIS FOR YOU REVIEW ON "SPENDING THE NIGHT WITH YOU". I CAN SEE YOU TOOK EXTRA TIME DOING IT! NOW I'M SPOILED AND MY HEAD IS GROWING BIG LIKE A PUMPKIN! I HAD HAIR LIKE YOURS,UNTIL A FAIR WHERE A CHILD STUCK A CANDIED APPLE IN IT! TAPPIN' TOMMY
Hey! Thanks for the review! Great guitar work, great songs! I sensed a bit of Queensryche there (that's a big compliment from me :) ) As for "Where Sanity Falls" -the song you reviewed- it was mixed and mastered by a pro studio in New Zealand (www.edgeworthstudios.com) that's why the mix sounds great. We're currently working on our debut concept album "Ground Zero". If you want to check out more of our songs, head to www.anannuki.com and keep me updated with what you do! Cheers! Elie.
hey james, thanks for the kind review mate.i guess being compared to incubus is a good thing ha ha,they are a great band after all.all the best
HI James, Thanx for the review and nice comment. It's much appreciated. Glad to see that your still doing what you luv to do. Your a true musician/producer @ heart. It's easy to get discouraged w. all the B.S. that goes on in the music bizz. But you have to keep pushing on and believing in yourself. I've put the Passin Throu project on hold and am doing my main band now Two Ton Anvil. I haven't been able to do any reviews on here in months because I've been so busy with gigging and other stuff with Two Ton Anvil. Might be going on tour next Spring for a few months. If we come down to FL you'll have to catch one of our shows. Anyway, take care and I hope that you'll stay in touch man. Keep rockin!! Chris TTA/PT
I haven't heard your music for the past couple years and all I can say is Man, you changed! Wow! You're music just about knocked me out of my chair. Your sound has deepend and become very commerical. You were always good but I like the loud, thick and heavy guitar and overall sound you have and the lyrics, great sound and great hooks! Hey, I just wanted to stop by and say I like what I'm hearing. I'm sure you've been getting licenced time and time again. Good luck man, give em' Hell. I'm sure I'll be hearing a lot more of your music. Keep it Metal!
