oh I really like Exiles, that chord progression that starts around 1:53 was not only a surprise but is FANTASTIC !! I love that ! great track Kent. the choice of instrumentation, especially the percussion, is spot-on. congrats on a timely lyric and an inspired track indeed.
Thanks very much for your comments. I just can't believe what this nation is becoming...Perhaps living in New York prevents me from seeing an uglier side of immigration that seems to exists outside of NYC. Where is our collective heart in America?
great job Kent--absolutely beautiful work my friend. congratulations on this new and wonderful mix, and being a lyric guy, we can hear them so well now! intricate, well thought out, just wonderful work. all the best, Warren oh ps--i don't do the "list" thing, but if i were to start, this would be the first one!
New song added tonight. An instrumental with interplay between different time signatures: 3/4, 4/4, and 18/4 for good measure. Hope you have a moment (or 6) to give it a listen. Thanks. Kent http://www.broadjam.com/artists/songs.php?artistID=41241&mediaID=669961 1
Thank you for your very kind review of "Falling Deeper". Yes that song was my premier track on my 2010 release "Songs from the Womb". I'm glad to see that it still possess the magic. I really appreciate your unbiased, very thorough review. You touched on a lot of details which I wish other reviewers would do. You have a great ear for nuances, structure, musicianship and mood. Many thanks for the great numbers! Dave - CenterPeace

Thanks Chet. And thanks for letting me reside in your place in the top ten for a few days! Kent
Ahhh, I don't have a place in any Top Ten....I just find myself there wondering, "Who put me here"?
Wow!! " Alicante"( metadors tale) amazingly breathtaking!! The music the lyrics, the vocals .. The beautiful chord changes!.. So unique and gives one such a feeling of going back in time!!.. I wish you success with this piece I can surely hear this In a film!.. Truly loved it!!
Thanks very much Julia. Your opinions and insights are always highly valued! Hope you have a great new year!. Kent
Kent Webb, ladies and gentlemen.... #1 Dream-popper! Sweet! Chet
Alicante is another feather in your cap. so well written, performed and produced. if your goal is to license this track, I would not change the genres you picked. however, I would lose the Moody Blues comparison in favor of Sting. if you are not seeking licensing for a film opp, might I suggest smooth jazz or new age as one of the genres. at the end of the day, keep the descriptors mainstream and let the listener decide where your work belongs. again, great track and THX for sharing. as always. . .
Thanks very much Peter. Great advice! The Sting reference is particularly insightful. I never thought of that while writing the song but listening with a fresh ear, its a good match. Thanks again and have a great holiday season. Kent
Hi - thanks for taking the time to review Kiss-chasing the Sun; your feedback is appreciated. Regards Greg

I have a few songs I would love to hear you re arrange mix or play one is called BUTTERFLY and the other is BLAME IT ON THE RAIN... you have the perfect voice and sound I have been looking for... well let me know if you ever collaborate.. peace brother
Hi Z, pardon the long delay in getting back to you. I was traveling out of the country with very limited web access. Thanks much for the nice comments. In terms of collaboration, with the best of intentions I have tried that before and found that work and travel continually compromised how well I could work with others. oh well... I like your works! a very artistic approach and the talent comes through. It's always encouraging to hear work from inspiration. So keep up the great work and I look forward to hearing more as you make it available! Kent
