Hi J, yea we could try something out. I have been trying to find a lyricist to work with for some time. It would speed me up a great deal.
Great. What about next weekend Saturday April 30th or Sunday May 1st between noon and 8pm sometime? I start a new job next week so I'm not sure about weekdaytiming yet.
Thanks for the critique - especially for being straight up & talking about the "cringe factor" - several lines have been changed since then but I don't have a new demo of them. Jen
No problem Jennifer, I was definitely aiming to be constructive. Listening to a few other things, you've a great voice and talent for writing pop songs.
Thanks for the review! I like JingleHell, could hear it in an adventure game - Jennifer

Hi Jennifer :) Thanks for the review of "Some Good Things Never Last" (you can hear it again on my Broadjam page) Very thorough. It might have "reminded you of something because you may have heard these versions? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAVIGEouS-M http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xecoaa_some-good-things-never-last_music
We covered the tune you reviewed today...Brooke did that a long time ago.....I should probably take it out of the review rotation....
No problem - I kept thinking - what IS that? it's something...what IS IT? LOL!
That was 10 years ago...she was a kid! Now she's an accomplished opera singer, a semester or so away from a masters degree!
Good for her! I studied opera too, it gave me an understanding of the breadth of space between the notes, and a big palette to draw from as a pop artist. Good luck to her in her career.
Hi Jennifer, Thanks for reviewing my song yesterday. It sounded like you were interested in the lyrics so let me tell you what it is about. About 2 years ago I went to see a concert given.......there were only 24 or so people in the audience......it was a spectacular (musically that is) night........given by Sean Lennon....the song is about that night.....the Son and not the father is about Sean and John....Friendly Fire is the name of Sean's last album......Cheers .Laurence
Oh, OK, I don't know those references, and I don't have an opportunity to rewind and say - hang on - what was that? It's a first pass review, so there's lots of opportunity for me to miss stuff. nice work, glad you were not offended, I take the critiquing seriously.
Jennifer, Thanks for your very nice review of "Don't Tell Her". Your review was right on! Thanks again. Dave
So nice to get comments back! thanks!
