Thank You so much for the 5* on "Lenten Meditation" I do appreciate you taking the time to listen... love Scotland, been 5 times to visit....in music Delta 🎶🎶🎶
Nice work on lucid dreams--VERY lucid indeed! Warren
Cheers Warren, amazing what a few drinks can do when the improvisation bug kicks in.
Lol... keep it up then! Xoxo W
Hi, long time since we spoke! You have had fun with Lucid Dreams! Could have been called, "Nightmare"! Only kidding! I will need to get into using a Daw! It would be better being shown how to use it. Save time! I see you are prominent in the Broadjam charts! Great! Scotland for quality!
Experimentation is fun and in the words of Alice Cooper, "Welcome To My Nightmare". All the best mate, Cheers.
Five Stars for Blossoms!
Cheers Jim. Done that one on Garageband. There is a video on You Tube keeping the fun going. All the best.
Sorry Jim, You Tube link below; https://youtu.be/TFYAv63iD1c
Yes, very mystifying!
Sounds like you are having fun with Blossoms! Quite Unique I would say! Good for film background music. Something different is good! Five Stars from me, for using your imagination! What DAW are you using? Well done!
J, also thank for 5* on Memories....Delta
Thank yoU, BrothA - Much LovE, Trey & Vince
Hi JAC, Appreciate you taking the time to listen to and give 5 Stars to, "Dear Jane"! I enjoyed doing it but must give credit to the guitarist who made it fly?
Keep 'em coming Jim. All the best.
Isle of the Saints is a Beautiful song Stevie! I saw you in the Top Ten and selected a lesser played song in your Catalogue! Was not disappointed! Has that Scottish sound and delicately played! Was imagining accompanying Lyrics! I could envisage an Orchestra coming in to build up to a crescendo before finishing delicately the way it does. Will hear more in time! Def 5 Stars! It deserves to be played more on here!
Hi Jim. Thank you so much. I'm working on a Pipe Band arrangement of this one. Not sure if it will come to light but it could work. Hope all is well with you and thanks again.
Hi Stevie, on the subject of the pipes and at the risk of sticking my nose in, my producer for the Mysterious Lady song went with multi tracked border pipes which gave that rich sound without the pipe band logistics. All the best for 2022.
J.a.Connor, is that you using electronic pipes sounds? Where would I find someone to create that sound for one of my songs?
Hi Jim, the pipes are the border pipes played by Matt Seattle and multi tracked by Iain mcKinna at Offbeat Studios in Edinburgh. Iain is a really great guy who has worked on quite on a few pipe tracks. I believe he also picked up a classical brit award for his work on Spirit Of The Glen.
Thanks J.A.C., My nephew plays the pipes. He was in the army but came out Last year. He played Flower of Scotland alone for the Scotland rugby team in Italy two years ago! I'd love to incorporate pipes in a song. Thanks for info on access to Iain McKinna!
Hi guys. I've worked with Border pipes and they're grand but looking at full pipe band here. With additional instrumentation. I'm just finishing a piping album for Greentrax at the moment and hoping to use Kyle Warren for pipe arrangement. Will keep you posted but it might be a while!
Thanks for all the input. All the best for 2022 when it comes.
You are a busy man Stevie! Look forward to update! Keep safe and Good New Year to you both!
Cheers guys. Keep living the dream : ))
Thanks so much j.a. for listening to my new one Letter To The Lord, and the playlist add, have a great new year! Warren
All the best Warren.
j.a. Thank you for the 5* stars on my "MARY HOW COULD YOU HAVE KNOWN" in love of music....Delta
You're very welcome.
Hi Matey: Thanks for the listens and the stars. Cheers!
Keep 'em coming buddy. All the best.
Atmospheric! Ideal for a Movie Transitional Scene in my humble opinion! A Songwriter's Dream! (Economical Lyrics) loved the Pipes!
Cheers Jim. Open Your Mind has been proving quite popular and the Karst trilogy is a taster of some new work themed on geographical experience which hopefully will develop further wnen the Covid restrictions ease.
What songs do you recommend I will enjoy of yours?
Oops! Twilight. :(
Reckon I do a good whispers in the night too ! It's called snoring. (Maybe a bit louder than a whisper though),
Yes. Mine makes the windows rattle and my wife go to another bedroom. :-)
Congrats on making a top ten with "Whispers in the Night". Nice job.
Cheers Buddy.
God bless you j a Connor - we appreciate to five stars on both Elohim and Let's Worship Jesus
Very welcome.
Drift Away! Great Title!! Completely different to my Drift Away, but equally as good! Love the Chorus which is still swirling in my head! Sheer Atmospheric! Def. five stars!
Live in Kilmarnock!
Love your lyrics and thanks for the feedback. Great minds think alike. All the best from Cumbernauld.
Today is my sweet Eva's birthday. I made some changes to an older Conway Twitty song and recorded it for her. "Happy Birthday Darlin"
Nice one.
Hi there, I really enjoyed listening to this new track...very emotive and atmospheric. From the second it began, I was captivated to see where it would take me. Excellent job. I've just posted up a new track-"I Wonder What It's Like On Mars" which is as near as I will get to doing what you do (much better than me, I must add!) and creating an soundtrack-style piece. By the way, that title is outstanding....I could think for a thousand years and still never come up with that! Hope all well in Glasgow...we are coping with life up here in the Highlands but can't wait till things open up a little. Robert
Thanks Robert for the comments, stars and p/l add. Had a listen to your track and it definitely has a lot of potential for different outlets. Excellent vocal by the way. With summer calling I reckon the Highlands is the place to be (midges excluded). Time to start playing "Mysterious Lady" again and take my thoughts back to Fort Augustus. All the best, j
Cheers for that! And yes, Fort Augustus is a great place to come and reflect and consider life! But then there are so many places like that in Scotland!
Who needs foreign travel when you've got Scotland and imagination.
Thanks for the listen brother. Hope all is well with you and yours. Cheers!
All good here despite the obvious. Hope you guys are bearing up, keep the songs coming. All the best.
Thanks for the stars on Hopeful Train Ride Home-- Much appreciated! Warren
Great track Warren. All the best.
Wow!!! Just wow.....I have just been told that I am the Broadjam Hot 100 WINNER with "The Place That We Know" for December! I am speechless and blown away.....thank you to anyone who voted for it! What a great Christmas present!
Congratulations!
Aw...shucks! Thank you...
Well done !
Thank you! Appreciate that...
Love this song! I would imagine that if I was away from the homeland, I would have tears rolling down! It will accompany me when I travel next!
Thanks for the kind words and stars. Appreciated Cheers!
Thank you Sir Connor for the recognition you gave my cover of "I Drive Your Truck".
