The band has been shifting gears lately. Marshall Stone is still involved with some of the lyrics and vocals, but has decided to pursue a more independent path. Taylor Zimmerman has left to teach vocals in Annapolis, Md while going to college. I wish them both the very best in life because they are both so talented. Doug Hardy & Terry Oates are still participating when not performing in their other band (The Mudcats) in Winchester, Va. Which leaves me (Leland Sloan) the last man standing, who wrote all the material and played all the keys still around as "I Don't Trust Robots". Still churning out music weekly, still recording, but bringing in artists as needed instead of making them permanent.

The official story is: The other members wondered off into the woods during a camping trip one night and were later used to make book bindings for the latest Harry Potter Book. One did escape, but was promptly eaten by frogs.

The core of "I Don't Trust Robots" is a bank of keyboards, 2 of which are clavinet D6's. These beauties (a 1973 from CA & ??? from Greece that was purchased in 2000) are named Billy Jean and Ophrah, and are being refurbished to like new condition by Electionic Edge in Yellow Springs, Ohio. They will join the other keys, modules, drummer, guitarist, vocalist, etc Feb 15th. We can hardly wait! Bleep.

Clavinets were picked up in February as expected. The restoration process was exceptional. Brought both instruments back to showroom new condition. They have resumed their rightful place as the centerpieces of the project.
